Join GFWC VIOLETS: Virtual Service, Real Impact!
Are you a woman with a passion for service looking for a flexible way to give back?
Welcome to GFWC VIOLETS—Volunteers In Organization Loving Each Other Through Service! Since 2013, we’ve upheld the GFWC mission of strengthening our communities. Today, we’re proud to be a virtual junior woman’s club, making it easier than ever for busy women to connect, grow, and make a difference from anywhere.
What We Do
We believe in supporting others and each other. Our projects focus on both community needs and personal development:
- Monthly Wellness Journeys: Each month, we host engaging speakers on topics essential for modern life, such as Bullying Prevention and Awareness, Financial Wellness, Taking Care of the Caregiver, and Destress at the Holidays. We held a Mental Health Monthly Calendar Challenge, learn about eye health, and decorated bras to promote awareness of breast cancer in October.
- Community Support: We actively support incredible organizations like Ronald McDonald House, Tallulah Falls School, and Wellspring Living. We support one Little Lending Library with books.
- Annual Retreat: We offer an opportunity to step away from the screen, connect in person, and recharge at our annual retreat.
- In person connection: We often meet at our district, state, regional, and international meetings to gather and support projects.
Ready to Serve?
Connect with a dynamic, supportive group of women dedicated to service and personal growth. Our monthly meeting is held on the first Monday evening of the month at 7:00 PM EST.
